About

I like the part before there is a plan.

That is usually where I start listening, organizing, naming the work, and turning a big idea into something a team can actually execute.

Marlena Branham

Strategy brain. Builder hands. People-first instincts.

I studied Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience at the University of Michigan, then returned for a Master of Science in Information with a specialization in UX Research & Design and a graduate certificate in Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

My experience has moved through operations, marketing, startups, UX research, admissions, teaching, consulting, content creation, and venture building. The common thread is not the industry — it is the kind of problem I am drawn to: ambiguous work that needs structure, good judgment, strong communication, and someone willing to carry it through.
